Experimental Typography

Brief: Select an excerpt from your favorite book, (limit your text to 400 words) to create a series of posters. Start by analyzing your text, highlighting keywords, and drawing associations. Decide on the main message you would like to communicate by listing all the associations you think of (for instance if your text talks about purity think of various ways you could express it visually and the various words that would represent it).

Once your message is clear, choose 4 of these words, and represent them using actual material: Glue, plants, milk, sand, paper, nails, threads… Do several iterations and take high quality professional pictures.

You will use these words to design posters around a specific event (conference, workshop, movie…).
